Abstract

Companies generally, like any organization, are increasingly faced with new challenges to maintain their competitive position in the market. Consumers, customers and potential customers have access to information like never before: therefore, organizations find themselves with a market invaded by information. Faced with this wave of data, organizations have to be prepared for the correct decision-making, based on properly structured and analyzed market inquiries. Mathematics is a costly tool for a company's top executives, as they can use it as a resource for marketing decision-making. It is pertinent to produce a mathematical culture in the center of companies.
